Lytic Lifecycle Lab

Today we did a Lab on the Lytic Lifecycle.


Directions:

1) Draw out the Lytic Lifecycle. Be sure to include all the phases: Attachment, Penetration, Pre-Replication, Replication, Assembly and Release.

2)For each stage please discuss what is actually happening in detail.

3) Write a paragraph that contains why the Lytic Lifecycle is better in the long run for humans. Also give at least 4 examples of viruses that use the Lytic Lifecycle.

4) Those with color and detail will receive the higher scores.
