2nd Semester!!!!

So today we begin a new era!

We completed the Overview for the next section which is on Evolution. And no that isnt a bad word I promise!!!

Review Day

Today was a day filled with lots of make up work (what do I expect when there are almost 1000 absences in the semester) and organizing the notebooks. Next stop is the exam and it will be open note, but it has to be your notes and materials!!!! Make sure you have them with you because you aren't leaving my class once you show up!!!

Last Test of the semester

So today was test day and everyone should have done well since I read the test to you yesterday and told you what was on it!!

But alas some didn't care enough and failed miserably, but most did well. Exams are coming hope you kept everything!

5 day weekend

We all should be well rested after the lengthy break!!! Well we have a new exam schedule and it goes like this Friday is 2nd and 3rd. Monday 1st. Tuesday 4th and 5th. And Wednesday 6th and 7th.

Tomorrow we will test on Chapter 12. Thursday is exam review. Today we went over some more test review!

Will it snow?

We began our test review today. Weather permitting we will keep reviewing tomorrow and test Friday. If not we will test when we get back!!!

Tuesday News and Views

I forgot to mention yesterday that we have a student teacher, Chris Graham from Liberty University. He will be with us until sometime in May.


Today we finished our last lab of the semester. Tomorrow we will begin our test review and will hopefully test on Friday weather permitting.

The Last Week begins

Today we finished up our computer lab, then we began out DNA cut out lab. We will finish the cut out lab tomorrow. Then on Wednesday and Thursday we will review for the test on Friday. This will be the last grade of the six weeks.

Next week is exams and please remember my exam is open note!!!!

Computer Lab

Today we completed a computer lab that dealt with DNA replication and Protein Synthesis.

Monday we will begin our last lab and finish it on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday will be review days and a Test on Friday.

The following week we have Monday off and Tuesday is exam review day. Then Wednesday thru Friday will be exams!!

Mon 1st period exams (all other students do not attend!)

Quick review for Tuesday and Wednesday

Both Tuesday and Wednesday were lecture days. We talked about DNA, RNA, Amino Acids, Ribosomes, Interphase, Chromatin, Chromosomes, Protein Synthesis, DNA Replication and a whole host of other topics. As you can see if you miss your really really behind!

A new year

OK see we started the new year off by beginning the Chapter on DNA and RNA and all their quirks. I will post the overview below. I hope everyone had a great break and now are ready to work with finals 2 weeks away!!!

Also next week will be the start for my student teacher. His name is Chris Graham. He wont take the classes over until after finals but he will be your teacher very soon. I cant wait to meet him and hopefully having an extra pair of hands will really help us!!!
